1. What on earth do I do with all of this gold?

Hello. I know this is going to be a weird question but here it goes...

I just started playing again after about a 4 year break. I basically have forgotten everything I knew about WoW, which is amazing, because it feels like I am playing again for the first time ever.

Anyway, I have a few toons on here, each with maxed out professions, and I have a TON of gold. My question is, what exactly can I do with all of this gold? I can't seem to buy high end gear with it. Does gold really have that much value? Any thoughts? Ideas?

    Thanks.

  2. If you donated even once, you sell that gold on the trade section to get coins and then buy BiS gear with coins (if you're on Icecrown that is).
If you're on Lordaeron, same as above except you replace BiS gear with mounts and cosmetics.

Last but not least, you can buy raid runs/specific item drops/titles from guilds for gold.

  3. I knew it was gonna come off that way but I honestly dont know what to do

Ahh, now we are getting somewhere. I didnt know you could do this. Can I trade for coins on Icecrown?

Yes, you can. As I said, you just need to donate first because only donors can use the trade system.

  6. Sell for coins via website trade market and buy gear, mounts, boba tea, whatever you want.

  7. Or buy in-game stuff you know you'll need at some point: gems, crafting materials, primordial saronites, flasks, potions etc.
