I don't get what the point of minimum coin price based on Gearscore is? I wanted to sell my 3.7k GS priest but 244 minimum price is way to high so of course nobody bought it.
Warmane could have a lot more character sells if they removed the minimum price completely.
Any item that is sold in the Coin Shop influences the minimum cost. The amount added is slightly less than the cost of the item in the Shop (so it's still advantageous to get a character with the gear, if the buyer would get the items with Coins anyway), but we aren't going to make the Shop irrelevant just so people can sell their characters cheaper.
While i agree that letting people put their own price could make Shop irrelevant, that doesnt necessarily mean it would happen. Most people probably donates for few items, probably low amount of people will spend coins on every single piece of gear. I myself will spend coins on trinkets that are hard to get because everyone needs dbw, RS trinkets. Ive tried multiple times to sell one of my toons that is almost BiS, with that i had some BoEs and almost 70k gold, eventually i gave up and just sold gold for coins because noone would spend 400+ coins.
