Warmane/LK Classic - Dead ?

Hi all. I started playing this project not long ago and I really liked it.

it will be necessary to collect what will happen with the servers (Blackrock, Icecrown and others) after the release of LK Classic? Will this project die?

Warmane won't go anywhere. It'll get a drop in population, sure, my guess about 10-20% but that's about it. It'll still be free to play, while Blizzard WotLK won't be.

Retail WoW runs like crap nowadays. The Warmane WOTLK client runs very smoothly. Also there's no dungeon finder for retail WOTLK so that's another reason to skip. But hey who knows, i may try it, if it gets good reviews.

Blizzard is destroying Wotlk because of Vanilla players.
If i'll go on their Wotlk Reforged, it's only because of the new client and fresh addons.

You can try the new client if you download the wrath classic ptr client from the battlenet launcher (no subscription needed). It's very good.

Also the scourge event is active so you can see a necropolis hovering above the duel pit of Orgrimmar :D

I literally looked for a WotLK server as soon as I found out about the new release from Blizz. I can't afford it, so Warmane just gained another horde angel.

yea, Warmane is superior, for the Dungeon Finder feature alone.

Chances are by phase 2 when people realize they are getting 251 ilvl in Ulduar and S6 gear resembles moreso of s7 gear and the class dynamics/scaling are all ****ed... Warmane will likely see a major influx of players back... I am already pretty irritated with Blizz and their "changes", Warmane will be a more accurate representation of Wrath than Blizzard's own iteration of classic. Disgraceful, and hilarious at the same time. The best part is, Blizz is worried about "Power creep", their solution? Bring more powerful items into the game sooner! Bunch of muppets and clowns running the show there, lmao.

Curently playing on retail Wotlk classic servers, it's shiet.
There are queues of 5 hours + (13.000 players in queue).
Like someone said before, the Warmane WOTLK client runs very smoothly, alot better than what Blizzard has put together.
I sometimes wonder if Blizzard has somehow lost the original WOTLK server files and just installed some crappy bugged private server version, 'cause sometimes, that's what it feels like.

Take it from me - retail classic feels like playing a crappy bugged private server.

The way Blizzard is butchering WOTLK atm they lost a lot of player, someone posted a list of all the changes they made so far and about 80-90% of it are dissliked by the community. My favorite so far is sex change in Barbershop, cause changing gender is so easy nowadays, and change it from "male" and "female" to body type 1 and 2.
