WotLK Characters not showing

I had two characters on Lordaeron but they are not showing now. I havent played in a long time. Can I contact someone to try to retrieve them?

Personally, you didn't have time (somewhat like 30 seconds) during whole year to secure your characters, but now you expect someone to spend much more time resolving situation that is your own fault?

Or everything is more simple. You didn't take means to protect your account, so it was hacked and cleaned from any possible goods.
