WotLK Lost characters and Donation rank

Hey, I've been on a really long break and have come back to find all my characters have been deleted and I no longer have my donators rank.
It seems my account had been compromised as there was a random level 1 character, I've since changed my password.
Could I get help in retrieving my lost characters and donation rank please? Thanks!

The account being compromised wouldn't remove Donation rank, it's not something that can be "lost" or removed by someone using it. At most the account would get banned. The only situation I could imagine would be if the account was from before 2015 and no request to restore it was made back when we became Warmane, but then the account probably wouldn't be there at all. You can try to contact Support and provide them with the receipts from your donation(s) via [email protected] to see what has actually happened.

Regarding the characters, no. If they were deleted within 30 days, you would be able to manually restore them in the Services tab of your account page (one for free once a week, others with Coins or Points depending on the server they were). Beyond that it falls under the security of your account being your own responsibility, as is all that it's used for.
