have a problem with auction house.
Character - Longnight (Icecrown) Priest 80 lvl
Put 2 Merlin's Robe today on auction house. One was sold, and another one disappeared.
Character - Hellsmith (Icecrown) Death Knight 80 lvl
Put Breasplate of White Knight on auction house yesterday. Also disapperead.
It's very odd that the items just disappeared. I've never had that happen to me, and I've used the auction house to hell and back. Have you tried disabling your addons to make sure that the items or the gold aren't somewhere in the mailbox or your bags or bank?
I'm using high investment gold strategies, so doesn't selling some cheap staff. So any item I sell, calculating outcome before even crafting. So now I'm 100% sure, that items were lost on these 2 characters.
You didn't answer or address a single thing players have said, suggested or asked.
Either way, assuming that something did in fact happened to these items you claim vanished, Poterborn is correct in what he told you.

Even if there were logs, items lost due to some bug wouldn't be returned. The only exception are items acquired from a donation.
Regarding the off-topic about ninja looting, logs wouldn't change the way reports work. If you think our limited GMs would scrutinize and review logs after chats and rolls, you're out of your mind.

So your solution is to create custom scripting that's not part of the original game? Ninja looting is a player based problem and thus supposed to be sorted out by players but GM's do help with temporary bans that increase with each insurrection as a deterrent. if you don't like it make your own raids its really not that hard!
Now for your second point.. Logs on the AH? what would be the point? Lets give it the benefit of the doubt and say it did disappear... then you List it on the bug tracker not complain on the forum demanding a refund... Ingame issues like the AH should be reported INGAME not that it would be refunded. This supposedly happened on 2 different Characters... Why not take take steps if you know about something that's not allegedly working like it supposed to?
Sorry but I've seen enough people taking chances on the forums and are very quick to complain other then going to read the other information posted here on forums to know what steps to follow and or think of a solution for example.. to not get there loot stolen and look to GM's to fix there problems
Last time I checked GM stands for Game Moderator not babysitter...
