Got kicked 5 times already for being "afk" when the enemy team was intentionally camping the Graveyards at Alterac Valley. I understand that honor exploiting is a thing and is an issue, but we should not be punished for something we cannot control. Specifically I've been kicked from AV mostly due to dying constantly and not being able to do anything because I get cc'd to high heaven. Please do something about this its just ridiculous.

This has been brought up many times, but unfortunately I don't think they can/will fix it. If you play ally (it used to be horde, but the people doing this faction changed) and cap the GY they're camping, they will spam report you afk for that entire AV so you won't get any honor or will get kicked if you're not constantly in combat.
It is what it is. I've just stopped queueing AV and random BGs all together, and I know I'm not alone. I do find it ironic, however, that the very same people (I know this for a fact, because I've been in their premade trying to do some BG achievements) constantly complain about long AV queues. They don't understand that the queues are long, and continues to get longer, because of their behavior.
An easy fix would be to exclude AV from the random BG pool.Edited: October 12, 2022

These reports for AFK aren't from other players, its just inpossible if you get Idle debuff and somehow u get rid of it and after you leave combat u get within 1 sec exact same debuff again. I think its just way how warmane deals with bots in battlegrouds.
With Alterac Valley GY camping i think there is no way how to fix this, because this has been thing ever since retail wotlk.

They are. You won't get the idle debuff unless you're not moving in the beginning, and they will literally tell you they're doing it. The few times I've done AV without this premade, I never ever get the debuff.

Why do you keep ressing yourself by the spirit healer when it's camped and giving them these kills? Use your brain and move away from it and use standard ress and run away... I never understand these AFK people at spirit healers that just keep campers in that place and then complain about being camped...

Idle -> triggered by player reports, turns into Inactive in 1 minute.
Inactive (without having been Idle previously) -> triggered by the automatic system, gets you kicked out in 1 minute.
Lucky you, because staying as a ghost makes the inactive debuff appear even faster, it seems.

Not staying as a ghost, when it happens you just move away (or u can move to that place anywhere on the map where u died and ress there...), ress yourself the furthest you can and even if u die u can ress again even more further than before and run... It all happens in a few mins and u are not triggered as AFK, at least I never was.

From my observations, it works as some kind of score. Staying in the same place (not literally, but not moving much) increases the score. Staying as a ghost increases the score. Staying in stealth increases the score. And once the score is high enough it's very hard to make it go down, which is why sometimes you get Inactive almost immediately after dying in graveyard.

Idk, I'm not 24/7 pvper and I got only around 60k HKs but I got kicked only once and it was 30s after I joined BG and I was applying poisons on my weapons some people saw I'm in base and marked me. Before I made it to attack someone I got kicked :-D .
I always do this as I said before and it works normally. It's just how u do it even in a world outside of BG so I don't know why people still waiting for spirit healer ress and insta kills...Edited: October 12, 2022

Something needs to be done. The imbalance is too extreme, and the people on the winning side are abusing the system and wasting the time of hundreds (maybe even thousands) of players every day. All of the no lives who want to be on the HKs leaderboard all stacked on Alliance to spend their days camping GYs in AV with absolutely no resistance. Every single AV you have at least 80 Horde players that leave and get deserter (some get AV from rbg 15min after), and the rest just stay and get farmed helplessly for 1h. The farmers don't cap any towers or GY and they don't even kill miniboss on purpose to make it last an eternity. The end score (in HKs) is usually something like 500-40, sometimes even worse. Horde players try to find solutions in BG chat, but nothing ever works. The farming has been going on for years, but it's never been worse than it is now, since about a year or more. The only possible solution for Horde is to have premades of their own queuing for AV, but those are really rare and they are often outnumbered and just get chased across the map and camped. There is no resistance, and the system is almost designed for these farmers to thrive on the back of hundreds of helpless players.
Something has to happen. Either find a solution to help the Hordes wasting hours in this bg, or penalize the ally farmers that are abusing and ruining the game.
There's a lot of possible solutions, for example:
-Force Mercenary mode for AV/IoC. That way the farmers can't all be on the same team without a challenge and are forced to fight each other. Things would finally be balanced.
-Turn off AFK system in AV. It's horrible, it makes GY camping easier and the losing team utterly helpless to it.
-Somehow force the farmers to cap objectives so it lasts 15-30min instead of 1h30.
-Give Horde Tenacity. Sounds dumb and ridiculous, but that's what it would take for Horde to have a chance. It probably wouldn't even be enough.
Warmane please do something! This is unbearable. If this happened once in a while, or for a week or two, or even a couple of months, it would be tolerable, but its not the case. This issue is permanent, it's all day everyday for years. These nolifers are not going anywhere and they will never stop until something is done.
