Hi,
I had a character on the Frostmourne realm and was active during 2021 with the name "Arton", I'd very much like to get this character back if possible. I cannot find the character in the Barracks or under Services > Frostmourne S2 for some reason, a friend I was playing with at the time had his character moved to Icecrown automatically and got prompted to change his name as it was flagged once he logged in, whilst mine was completely removed.
I'm wondering what the difference between mine and his character or account is and why mine wasn't transferred as well? I have his account name and screenshots on my character if this is required, we also quit playing roughly around the same time. Please let me know if this character still exists in a backup somewhere as I'd love to play on that character again.

1. There was no automatic transfer. Make sure that you are not only listed Frostmourne S2 in Service, but also have selected character in next drop-off menu.
2. If your characters aren't listed in Service > Frostmourne S2, it means that you were on S1, which became unavailable for transferring upon launch of S3.

I'm aware that I need to select my character after choosing the realm in the drop-down list, but the list is empty. Seems to be that my character was on S1. If that's the case, is there any way of retrieving the character either way - perhaps a GM could answer this?

No way. You are late after having 1 year to do it. And no, "compensation" doesn't exist, everybody was well informed about process. Logic is simple: if you don't have 30 seconds to move character, you don't need it.
GMs in game can't help you because they are in-game staff.
Moderators here won't do it either.
You may think i'm toxic (maybe a little), but in fact such questions arise constantly and get same answer each time. Won't change. But people keep ignoring it in hopes for a favour
