Blizzard was always very lazy, I know it takes some extra coding, but players would have a more pleasant and funnier experience when our characters could have 2 word names, line first and last name. It would also make coming up with a name easier, and you could give alts the same last name as the main character.
I hope this makes sense and the great team would consider it for the new server.

So could everybody else. You might potentially end up sharing your "surname" with some of the most *****ic players out there.
I get the RP potential, but the world we live in.. Yeah no.

It's not about "surname", it's about IMMERSION and not losing your nerves when trying to come up with a name, naming your self Faceass in the end.

That's the sort of thing, much like the limit of 15 characters on passwords, more than likely enforced by the client.
Naturally, unless I'm mistaken about that, we wouldn't create a custom client patch and force players to redownload it just for the sake of you having an easier time naming your characters.

Once again, its not "Me" having it easy, it's about immersion. but ok, you don't want because it takes to code a new client. You could say it nicely. What do they teach you in school?
