Best class to DPS with high ping

Hello, I have consistently high ping, around 250-300 usually. What's the best class to DPS with? Does it matter? What would happen if I tried to DPS with say an arcane mage? Should I just give up that thought altogether? I already have a healer and a tank, I want to keep the advice focused on DPS please. What class should I roll that would make the smallest impact on my damage output with high ping.

There are castbar addons that show your ms so you can compensate for the latancy.
The only thing that might be a bit difficult could be something like cat or affliction since these are punishing specs if you can't keep up dots very well.
