1. What does disruptive gameplay consist of?

so i have asked these question several times and it seems that the closest i have gotten so far to an aswer is killing quest npc's endlessly, bugging quest npc's and so on and so forth.
but perhaps everyone was wrong, so i figured i might ask here: what is disrupting gameplay exactly on warmane?
i'm asking because for the past, eh half a year or so, the starting zone of the blood elves has been constantly camped by a certain player. npc's, players who accidently attack him (because he is using a rogue right in front of the npc so as to attack him when you actually want to talk to the npc), basically griefing level 1 players.
and he's still doing it. half a year later.
look, i don't find anything particularly wrong with world pvp; but the starting zone of a faction? seriously? you can log in now and find dozens of bodies of clueless fresh players who got killed by him.
seriously? does this REALLY not consist of griefing players?

  2. As far as I know NPCs in starter areas are not attackable. So they are not camping them (there are several players doing this, I just logged in to check)

I suppose you already submitted a ticket and were told it's not gameplay disruption so... what do you want?

  3. so i can do that as well without any repercussions? well good to know.

  4. From personal experience it's not as entertaining as it seems. After a couple of days you will get tired :P

yes, you can do that. he is doing it right now in the starting zone of eversong woods.
and a simple answer to what disruptive gameplay means would have sufficed. i see sometimes on the global channel people being banned for it, but i don't quite understand what is the criteria for that; and it seems nobody really knows either, lol.

  6. What did the GMs, who give those bans, tell you in reply to the in-game ticket you opened asking that?

  7. What did the GMs, who give those bans, tell you in reply to the in-game ticket you opened asking that?
they told me that they do not interfere with world pvp, apparently regardless of the scenario. i got it, good to know.
so i am asking you again, for the third time, what does disruptive gameplay consist of? maybe i know someone who does it, maybe i do it unwillingly. how would one classify it as?

  8. So instead of asking the people who give the bans what earns a disruptive gameplay ban, you waste their time complaining about PvP and then come to the Forum? I guess I shouldn't be surprised people fall for the same trick for months.

  9. if you're telling me that i should open a ticket and ask for answers there, i was under the impression that tickets are solely for the purpose of reporting someone, i didn't know you could ask for guidelines there.
you know, rules regarding the usage of the help request option differ from server to server. but i'll ask there, thanks.

  10. You can think of it like this - if players have a way within game to deal with your actions, it's all fine.
Just about the only thing I can think of is refusing to play RDF, where for a period of time players have no actions to take to advance. There was some talk about excessive things, like camping one town for, idk, a week straight 24/7, but I doubt anyone has been off their pills for that long.

We can discuss here all we wwant, but you will get true answer from GMs in game, if you really care about it.

this looks a lot like what you are talking about. and in that case the guy thinks he is amazing and deserves custom rewards for it rather than a ban

    Yes, it's the same person.

An interesting amount of kills taking into account how they were obtained. I would reward him with the title "the Patient"

Disrupting gameplay: Using minor exploits or poorly designed parts of game mechanics to noticably interfere with other players' gameplay. Examples of such are: Resetting NPCs while other players joust with them on Argent Tournament and joining RDF only to idle and refuse to leave on your own to avoid the debuff.

ganking is alowed. in your case its much easier to avoid.

  14. RDF/BG/Arena AFK.
I've seen somebody got Disrupting Gameplay from camping and killing capital's Flightmaster for a long time.

I don't think there's any definitive list, but it's probably varies case by case depending on severity.

Ganking ain't one, as you got dozens of options to counter it.
