Technical item missing

Few minutes ago, I notice that i have lost one item.
It was my first purple and it hurts...
I have an screenshot that demostrate that the item was earned by me, killing a mob in tanaris.
Can u do something?
Is here the correct place to ask for help?

There's no item restoration for in-game obtained items, unless it's Ashen Ring, or other item that's necessary/needed in general.

Now that I notice it says "you won" but not "you receive loot" so the item probably stayed in the corpse of the mob.
