WotLK Help with Ban!

Hey I've submitted a ticket, but I haven't got a response. I've reinstalled the client, but I got banned for a week for using anti-cheat software or something. I've been using the same client on warmane for last 3 years, not sure why now its randomly banned me.

I booked this a few days off work so I can play Onyxia realm with my pals, but this inconvenience got in my way. Any help would much be appreciated.

Ban appeals are lowest priority, and I suspects ticket line at the moment is rather lengthy one (new realm and all that). You've done what you needed to do, and now all you can do is wait. Posting here won't hasten the process.

Anti-cheat won't ban you for a random reason. I suggest you to "find" the reason and remove it from your PC.

The ban isn't instant. Sometimes weeks or months go by before they issue the bans.

Not true. I just started playing Warmane last night for the Onyxia realm and I’m facing the same problem as OP. Last night I got a 15 minute suspension for “cheat software”. I assumed it was just detecting patches from other Wrath servers I’ve played on prior, so I removed them all effectively making it a clean install. Just a few minutes ago I was issued a week long ban while playing. Both times it happened when clicking a flight master…

Don't use modified clients, period. Removing patches might not be enough, they might have further custom changes that will be detected as tampering with the game. Also, although this should be obvious, don't actually try to cheat either.
