Quest 'The Sleeper has Awakened' broken?

Hi I'm new to WOW and I like to run quests with my hunter char, but this quest seems impossible to complete for me. Every time I entered Ashenvale region, Kerlonian Evershade the bear went disappeared, I have no clue what caused that. Anybody could hint me what I did wrong there?

I also had the same problem, and the same for the "Supplies to Auberdine" quest - same exact thing happens.

Both have been reported in the Bugtracker, and until they fix it, I'm not personally aware of any work-arounds. Just had to straight up abandon both.
