Hello,
Something very odd is going on. I have had characters on Onyxia since launch, though may still be very low level, but I do log in to.
Since at least last week, every time I attempt to login to Onyxia realm specifically, I get a "Logging in to game server" error. Deleting my Cache folder made no difference.
I tried creating characters on other Warmane realms. It worked and I made a level 1 on Lordaeron and a max level on Blackrock [PvP only] realms.
I then attempted from the Blackrock realm to switch realm to Onyxia. The realm list shows perfectly fine with Onyxia showing 3 characters and Population "New Players", but attempting to login always hangs with the "Logging in to game server".
I checked and tailed my WarcraftLogsconnection.log and every time it successfully connects to the non-Onyxia realms it shows:
However, every time I try to connect to Onxyia it shows:Code:ClientConnection Initiating: COP_CONNECT code=CSTATUS_CONNECTING ClientConnection Completed: COP_CONNECT code=RESPONSE_CONNECTED result=TRUE
I had waited a week or so to see if anyone else was reporting the same errors connecting to Onyxia, but I have not seen any other reports.Code:ClientConnection Initiating: COP_CONNECT code=CSTATUS_CONNECTING ClientConnection Completed: COP_CONNECT code=RESPONSE_FAILED_TO_CONNECT result=FALSE
So, something extremely odd is going on given that,
1) I have never had connection issues connecting to Warmane (or indeed any other functioning private server),
2) somehow I can always connect to all other Warmane realms but not to Onxyia.
The only thing I can think of is Onyxia is doing some custom client patch, maybe via Warden, and somehow the patch is sensitive to operating system and this patch very recently broke operating system support for all the usual OS that the 3.3.5a client supports.
I use Windows 7 SP1.
