Today was a really sad day. But well, I hope I get some information or maybe help, or maybe, in the best case, we get a bug corrected.
I spent 1 hour creating a 25 group to go to VOA25. I was the leader. We cleaned up the instance, we summoned all the people. I started fire boss with a /dbm pull command. Client got disconnected while pulling, just after the first /rw from the dbm pull automation. No error on the /Errors/ folder.
Nothing on the connections log:
I reconnedted instantly: I was OUTSIDE the dungeon. The fire boss battle was started, and now I am outside. Cannot enter because "A combat is in progress". Wintergrasp alert for BG (15 mins) was spawned. I changed the MASTERLOOTER to the maintank. Fire boss died, and I GET THE SAVE while I am OUTSIDE the instance: I get the same ID as the other players. I cannot enter again in the dungeon, they summoned me, the message appears, but do nothing. ID: 17401091
Some players start complaining about the loot was lost, and some **** after I pass the full leader to the main tank: "Kracked" (a DK tank)
He tryed to give me some loot from fireboss, but the game tells him "I am not elegible".
Any idea of how to solve the terrible bug? maybe is client side? I guess it is server sided. I created a ticket in the in-game system, but in 2 hours the saves will be gone.... and usually the TCKs get more than 12 hours to get solved.
You were still "online" when you got your DC-> "Participated" in the boss fight -> You got saved, though not eligible for loot since you weren't there when you connected back. The loot should be distributable with the players inside the raid, so this excludes you.
This is also a good reason why you shouldn't do VoA moments before the entrance closes. If you DC/exit, you can't get back in.
