1. loot rules

attended a raid where the leader would switch from master loot to group loot in icc during trash pulls because boes were not reserved. he forgot to change it back to master loot and items from a boss were group looted. a player won a trinket and the leader threatened to report and kick him from raid. my question is if he did not give the trinket back to the leader to roll out at the end of raid, is that considered ninja and is it a bannable offense? he won it from group loot for his main spec.

  2. Well its tricky, if people passed and only him and raid leader clicked on need it could be a ninja. Its up to GMs to decide if they get a report

  3. The item wasn't meant to be rolled then. The player should've given the item to leader. There's a mention in another topic that even if leader makes the mistake of leaving group loot on, the items should be forwarded to Raid Leader/Master Looter, as they are the ones distributing the loot in the raid, not group loot.

No, it's not fair and square roll, as it wasn't intended to ever happen. People thinking them rolling highest on need when it wasn't meant to be so in the 1st place makes it fair. No bruh, it isn't. It wasn't controlled situation. Some probably passed on the loot knowing it.
