Hello, I bought the ax at the edge of shadows for coins. I wanted to ask if when doing the mission you skip directly to collecting souls for the ax since having it should already be completed?

The 1st quest isn't skipped. You'd need to make the quest, and get 2nd copy of Shadow's Edge, though it's unique so you'd need to delete the one you bought.
