1. Hit cap for pvp

Hey, i used to play pvp as warlock with over 5% hit and never missed spells, for few weeks now I miss even 2/3 spells in a row with same 5.91 hit chance, did they change something? Its not that I miss rogue while he has cloak, I miss everything, warrior, hunter......

  2. Should be 6% and even then you will miss against belf palas for example.

  3. Should be 6% and even then you will miss against belf palas for example.

    Base hit = 4%

Base hit + Racials (undead 2% shadow resistance or blood elf 2% magic resistance for example) = 6%

Base hit + Talents (rogues or paladins 4% chance for spells to miss talents for example) = 8%

Base hit + Racials (undead 2% shadow resistance or blood elf 2% magic resistance for example) + Talents (rogues or paladins 4% chance for spells to miss talents for example) = 10%

You could need as low as 4% or as high as 10%. Your pvp hit rating is determined by what your fighting against. Not everyone or every team you fight will require the same hit rating.

No need to stack 6%, 8%, or 10% hit rating if its not absolutely needed as the extra hit rating does come at a cost of lowering other more important stats given the situation.

Generally speaking (this goes beyond just hit rating) you would want to gear/gem/enchant/talent accordingly to whatever your situation is. Using different gear sets/talents can give you great advantages. Using the same gear set/talents for every situation is not optimal.

  4. Last I checked, the racial 2% miss cannot be hit capped. I tested with 16% hit and still missed spells.

  5. man, you are mixing up ressist and miss chance, hit is only against miss, spell pene is against resistance, pvp cap is 4% cause base miss chance is 4%

  6. The racials make spells miss, not resist. Go test and see.

  7. Last I checked, the racial 2% miss cannot be hit capped. I tested with 16% hit and still missed spells.
Ive tested this many times with10% hit vs blood elf paladins specd into Divine Purpose. It seems to be working as intended in some situations as I get no misses.

I have not tested it vs undead rogues with Heightened Senses. So I dont know if its completely working as intended.
