WotLK Unable to refund in Dalaran

hey,
so recently i accidentally bought a duplicate of a ring i already head ( Band of the Invoker) and when trying to refund it, it says `Sorry, unable to refund`
and i still have the message (You may sell this item to a vendor within 1hour and 12 minutes for a full refund)

what can i do?

Bank it, take it from bank, try then.
Equip, unequip, try again.
Basically move it around and it should be able to be sold.
