Technical WOW WoTLK installation help required

Hi, new to the site,

I checked the FAQs and the forum before diving in, but for the life of me I cannot get to the installation. I played WoW before and had an install from there (up to Panda), would that work for the servers here/do I simply set realmlist specs (and where would I find them)?

I managed to understand that the necessary install torrent pack can be reached through a link if the download button does not work (it does not), however neither does the torrent site look like how it is described in the forum post, nor can I use it. I am at a total loss at what to do and how. Mind you, I am fairly poor with computer skills and I am not that young and would require a step-by-step walkthrough on how to operate with torrenting.

My intention is to return to WoTLK a bit, mostly for lore and the occasional shenanigans (old school Warcrafter, started with the very first)

* Download and install a torrent client.
* Go to https://www.warmane.com/download
* Click download
* A window with torrent information should open, click on to begin download
* Wait for download to finish
*(setting realmlist optional [in config.wtf], depending on where you got the files)
* Double click wow.exe

Yes, I managed to get around the download button not working.

as it turns out I cannot handle torrenting, the whole UI is counter intuitive to me, but so far it looks like it works. Many thanks.
