That server was shut down years ago and you will never be able to play on that toon again.

Nobody knows about TBC release, keep an eye out for their official statement.

To elaborate on the above a little, those characters were given a chance to be transferred to Icecrown, so they should be playable there if you moved them. For obvious reasons, not even including the fact they were moved there, no previous characters will be playable on Onyxia.
