its just unbearable and pathetic , every jackass comes into server learns its ok to have scripts among many other things and just starts owning and acts like he actually won and no one tells him to sit down in his place cause everyone is just like him , wtf is this ? why they are not getting banned ? why when a few of them are getting banned its not premenant ? wtf is going on is it ok to cheat ? if not then why dont you start banning them ? there are so many of them , you just need to look at anywhere a rather BiS player is pvping and between 4 you will find 1 for sure
is anything going to be done abt them ? in the past it was like 10% of the pvpers and you could ignore them but now its all over the place and game is just pathetic , and they have way more cheats than just scripts.

Could you please share at least one video of players scripting or cheating since you say there are many? Have you recorded and reported them, or are you assuming they cheat just because they beat you with BiS gear?
I notice people complain about cheaters but don’t take action. If you see someone scripting or cheating, record them a few times and provide proof by creating a thread so we can see.
If there are so many, how is that you have 0 proof videos against them? Upload and let's see if they are scripting or they beat you up in 2 seconds.Edited: August 30, 2024

That's for the GMs to tell. If it shows proper and enough evidence of something that is irrefutably cheating, he should receive a punishment.

It's very hard to prove first of all, to make absolut certain, your "fake casting" being interupted 1-2 time in a fight proves nothing.
Don't cry so hard about it, it USED to be unbearable but that was 5-6 years ago, guess it's not really that much fun to play the game when your not even "playing" it.
Look at blizzard, they have even worse ammount of cheaters and bots and they made the godamn game itself, make a anti cheat system for 3.3.5 that gets rid of the "cheating" 3rd party programs and not the green lit once urself and se if it's so easy.
Warmane even has better anti cheat then wotlk blizzard and they're a frickin Private server.

first of all its very easy to prove , if you have any experience at all you would know you can detect simple scripts considering their movement
no one is crying , i was trying to find out if cheaters will ever get a proper punishment and i was replied to that they wont , and what you are referring to was 8~9 years ago when server wasnt as big and even then you wouldnt see as much cheaters in open world pvp
if blizzard finds someone cheating they will perma ban them but they too like you think its hard to know if there is a cheater and wont do **** , even if they do , the guy they banned will be back in a week with new account and char , that is blizzard's fault , if they dont do their job right doesnt mean warmane cant
and idk where this idea of better anti cheat comes from , even if warmane had better anti cheat it wouldnt matter cause no cheater is getting the punishment they should be getting , and in blizzard you only see scripts , here there is more.

Because we believe in giving people the chance to realize they can get caught and reported, and not do it again. Bans are worse on repeat offenders.

Because this isn't a democracy, and players' self-centered, focused-on-the-now and narrow points of view are awful for certain decisions.
By the way, it's only "a chance to get reported" if people don't report in the first place, and only "a chance they might get banned" if the report doesn't prove anything. Be the change you want to see.

yes , banning cheaters permanently wont be good when its a big chunk of player base , very narrow point of view from us non cheaters , it was always our mistake to report and harm server population , we need to learn to get along with cheaters , even if they dont have a shred of knowledge abt their class and they win vs those who have years of experience effortlessly.
