I have a suggestion for more benefits for players who supported the server, beyond just skipping the login queue. Here are some of my ideas (these ideas won’t give VIP players any advantage over regular players in terms of gameplay content):

1. Free talent changes or for a maximum fee of 10g.

2. Instant fly masters (This would save time when a player is just watching their character fly across the landscape, which is essentially lost time).

4. 5 minutes shorter Sickness and PVP Deserter debuffs, and 10 minutes shorter Dungeon Deserter debuff.

5. This suggestion is controversial, but I propose it only for level 80 players: an NPC in every faction city that would allow teleportation to another city or just to Dalaran (with a cooldown, for example, 10 minutes).

The advantages of a Premium account aren't just queue skipping. They have access to General support tickets, which get priority over the email contact regular accounts have to use, they have access to selling things on Trading, they can create Death Knights in selected servers.

Despite you claiming none of these ideas give "any advantage over regular players in terms of gameplay," all of them do exactly that. Most Premium features are strictly outside the game on purpose, and are a very fair share considering it takes just an one-time donation, even of the lowest value, to give an account that status for life.
