New to Warmane, Onyxia vs Lordaeron?

Hi there,

I am new to Warmane and I wondering what server to start? Searched the forum a bit, but can't seem to find any overview of the specs of the server. I am thinking about rolling on Onyxia or either Lordaeron.

I'm a lone wolf, I LOVE to take the slow route of solo-leveling, leveling up my professions in the meantime but I also enjoy party'ing up now and then.
I like dungeons while leveling, but not necessary. I usually play Priest, Warlock or Druid but I appreciate some Warrior tanking aswell, but maybe when I build some foundation of gold and professions and stuff.
I am a very casual player, I wanna play when I have to time, not interested in raiding anytime soon since I simply lack the time and interest.

I am not a newbie, I know how to play the game, so a "newbie (to WoW) friendly server" is not needed, but always welcome ofc.

Looking forward to read some comparisons, tips & tricks and advices about Onyxia vs Lordaeron.

Definately Onyxia realm, it's a progressive realm from Vanilla to WOTLK, you will get into raid groups easier. Lordareon is on Phase 5 WOTLK for years and alot of people are BiS or 6k+ highscore, which means you will hardly find a raid group, avoid Lordareon it's not for new players.

Pick Onyxia or Icecrown and adjust leveling rates to x1 if you like leveling and questing(You'll earn alot of gold btw while leveling if you pick gathering professions, and by the time you hit 80, you'll have hundreds of thousand golds)

But what if I don't give a damn about raiding? I'm not planning to raid when I get 80...
I'd rather spent my precious free time to chill ingame doing achievement, getting mounts, start and level alts, professions etc.

So many more things to do other than raiding...
