farming Honor during prePatch to use in tbc?

Will we be able to farm Honor/Marks during the 14 days of prePatch and carry them over to TBC ?

TBC content;
- XP rate will go back to the original standard for Onyxia, x3, when going beyond level 60. The x5 rates you are experiencing now are 1-60 only.
- Profession recipies will be released with appropriate content tiers.
- No Tinnitus debuff.
- Honor and Battleground marks will be reset.

this comment wasn't an official answer, and was 1 week old when they released the FAQ post, so you got your answer, as i stated previously.

the issue here is more or less, that the reset on prepatch would be blizzlike. the reset on Outland launch would be custom and non-blizzlike.
this causes plenty confusion

Honor & marks farmed during vanilla can be used to buy vanilla gear during prepatch (lv 60), then it's reset to let all the players start from scratch and farm their tbc gear (lv 70).

Why are you talking about a prepatch reset being blizzlike when 20 years ago we had no prepatch for tbc release, and tbc classic prepatch had no honor reset?
Even though warmane statement about TBC specifics might not have all the infos we're asking for, this part was quite clear

There 100% was a pre-patch on retail for TBC release.

original prepatch was 6 weeks long and quite a bit different. there was no access to new races / professions

Because it's not AS CLEAR as you make it sound, unless you know something that we don't.
what if it ends up not being exactly like you describe it?
