WotLK Range weapon swap macro

I'm curious why I haven't seen any warrior guide which suggest to also swap the range weapon when using one hand+shield.
When I switch https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50733 to https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=51412 I get extra defensives stats which should help when under pressure.
Is there any reason to not swap the range weapon?

I have tested this macro while in combat it doesn't seem to trigger a extra cd.

I do the same with 2 weapon sets 1 with my lk crossbow with 34 res gem and my one hand and shield and one set with shadowmourne and lk crossbow 34 arp
