WotLK Shadow Priest Dungeon AoE

Hi, this is mostly for lvl 80 heroics, i was wondering how to properly, or max out the dmg when having to do aoe, when fighting against:

2 Mobs
3 Mobs
4 Mobs
5+ Mobs

Some people i saw and what i do is that when its 4 or more i just cast Mind Flay, but some people angrily tell me to do DoTs first regardless.
And when its only 2 or 3 i spread dots and i do single target.

do whatever does most damage, seems pretty legit idea

2 mobs = 1st mob VT + SW:P , 2nd mob VT + DP + MB + MF + SW:P (and keep your rotation until 2nd mob down, then go back to the first mob)
3 mobs = 1st and 2nd mob VT + SW:P , 3rd mob VT + DP + MB + MF + SW:P (and keep your rotation until 3rd mob down, then go back to any mob)
4 mobs = do VT + SW:P to 3 mobs as fast as u can, then Mind Sear the 4th mob
5 mobs++ = pick the strongest mob, VT + DP + MB + SW:D + SW:P + Mind Sear (and just keep doing Mind Sear until 2-3 mobs left including your target, then do VT + MB everything untill all down)

Those people angry to you because you use Mind Flay instead of Mind Sear (which is AoE spell as Shadow Priest)

But remember, Mind Sear only effecting nearby target, not the one you're targeting with Mind Sear (0 damage)
That's why when 5 mobs++ I usually drop VT + DP + MB + SW:D + SW:P and then Mind Sear until everything is down
