WotLK Subversion(1/3) Good or Bad? PVE Unholy DPS DK

I was curious about doing most damage out of my unholy spec. After looking into talents deeply I decided to skip Morbidity and Dirge alternative and put those 2 talent points likewise-> Ghoul Frenzy(1/1) Subversion(1/3) but I want to know if its going to increase my dps output or not.

iirc it's Desecration 2/2, or if slow is covered by other means in your guild, go Morbidity 2/3

Yes, Desecration for PVE. I understand inexperienced players just foam from their mouth for some GS and Dmg meter numbers, but UH is one of those specs that have to sacrifice minor personal dps for raid mechanics.

Ghoul frenzy is absolutely a complete waste of a talent point it gives you nothing.
You should not put points into desecration despite what angrylol says, there are other classes that have attack speed slow/movement slow built into their base kit/talents that they go for.
Its not your job to sacrifice dps due to the incapability of others to use their class correctly.

This is the only build you should be using on unholy dk.
Anyone that tells you otherwise does not know the very first thing about unholy.
Only alternative is to get rid of unholy blight for 1 point into subversion + switching out dark death glyph for death and decay glyph for more aoe on very specific fights. (rarely ever worth it imo)

@ExtraEmily Thank you. :) I already knew that Desecration is completely useless talent in PVE although some people say that but if we make use of our brain it will be clear like water that desecration is not useful talent. Also I won't put my talent points in Dirge either because I want to try and make my own new build focusing on putting as much points as I can in Subversion. My main goal is to put out most damage out of my every Strike and weapon swing.

Desecration is most useful talent you can take now. It will save you from a lot of wipes.
When your guild has all the slows in order(skilled players around you) and you start to farm rs25hc and icc25hc, you can drop it for Morbidity, which will grant you greatest benefit where it matters at that level.
What is useless is some Dirge and some weapon swing build.

To answer your question, Ghoul frenzy is BIS, altough it makes you need to pay alot more attention to your rotation. On uwu-logs all the top parses use Ghoul Frenzy.

With that being said I use that point in subversion since its much easier on rotation, with minimal dps loss.
