Technical [Onyxia] For the Horde - Black War Bear - feeling scammed

Hello,

Recently I completed the achievement For the Horde which should give the Black War Bear mount.
Unfortunately after we completed the achievement there was a plain mail from Thrall saying "congratulation and enjoy your mount.
The mounts are not being sent via mail.

Please solve that problem. Do not excuses like "it is not WoTLK yet" or so on, achievement is achievement, same as Titles that are normally received.
We spent few hours on farming the achivement and we did not get anything.

The achievement shouldn't have been active to be completed, and the reward should only be valid when we reached WotLK, yes. But since this was just about something cosmetic and we let it slip by, the mount and other similar cosmetic-only achievement-bound items have been sent out to characters that apply.

Just checking to see if this has been added moving forward, or if it was only fixed for those who had already achieved it. Can you confirm whether or not players that complete the achievement now will receive the mount?
