Good day everyone,
I'm trying to figure out how one actually gets the achievement that is required to get into any ICC raid when the achievement is the hard requirement to actually get into the raid itself?
I'm sitting on 5600+ gearscore at this point, everything enchanted/epic gemmed, best professions for my class, and it still isn't enough. The whole "just grind until you get ____" doesn't actually apply. Without the achievement, you cannot get in. Without getting in, you cannot get the achievement.
I know the fights. I have the gear.
I'd love to hear how one actually does this, because I see no solution here. Is this a conspiracy to get people to buy the "bane boosts" that flood global and trade? I ask because that's the only way I see movement forward, and I'm not doing that. I earn my gear.

How does one get the achievement for invites when the achievement is gatekept?

You get into a guild that is willing to take you. Unfortunately as we have discussed previously in the forums there is a lack of new guilds starting up.

You definitely don't want to waste you time trying to get into raids with said leader who ask for achiev. Those are the biggest nabs the server has.
instead, join raids who's leader don't give a damn about your gear/spec/achiev. (if a raid fails to start within 5min i'm out anyway)

So he will waste time in those raids aswell with people doing barely 10k dps, not knowing god damn single mechanic and raid disbanding after 3 hours on DBS. Yeah, having achiv doesnt guarantee you are better player or that raid will be good but at least im confident that player with achiv wont **** up on basic mechanic
