Does anyone know if any 1 of the WOTLK servers are going to reset to day 1 Ptach 1 of WOTLK. I really like the servers but would love a every starting at the same time and progress threw tougher . kinda gets boring everyone 1 having 6k gear scores and all doing the end game for 2 years straight lol

At some point Onyxia will progress to WotLK though I don't know the details of it.

Onyxia will reach Wrath, that's true, but it's still a seasonal server and characters will likely be transferred to Icecrown once it ends, so that's something to keep in mind.

well we had Frostmourne, wich was a seasonal server starting over each year. then Frostmourne became Onyxia

Honestly, Icecrown is so "overleveled" It has active player base but so many old players who has just 3 smournes on each plater, with army of alchemy/JC alt accounts, bis pve/pvp other chars. Back in days, when Molten died and Warmane born, I saw some few ShadowMournes going around, it was rare to see one, even after 2-3 years. But now, every 10th has one, if you join BG"S, most likely every 1/3 has SM from horde or ally. Economy sucks, lets face it, simply because people have tons of accounts with maxed proffesions, and noone need anything, rarely you see random asking JC or Enchanting service.
Edit: honestly, I would wanted to start fresh, because I want level, gear again, find guild etc. right now, I can make new character (but I have 2 hunters already -_-) but knowing that I have cap gold, can sell gold, buy half bis character in 2-3 days, gets all fun out of me, or that I can log my bis character and revenge that dude in tanaris, buy fast flying without thinking.Edited: 3 Weeks Ago

I use the AH to sell stuff that is only useful to fresh characters and this is completely false. Of course people would rather buy enchanting scrolls or cut gems off the AH than having to deal with someone who may scam them.

I was trying to make point that old players have everything on them, I cant remember when I bought gems from AH, since (honor > gem, EOT > gem), cant remember when I did bought enchant, since I have 5 enchanter proffesions, mats from RDF, raids, random green drops in the wild. No surprise people who are old, have tons of gold.

And I made the point that even though I agree that old players don't have to use the AH that much, the AH is very alive, which means that there are tons of new players also.
People don't ask for jewelcrafters in chat channels because it's faster and safer to buy the gem they need off the AH, not because the demand for cut gems is not there.

Why wouldn't you just merge it with Lorderon, u would crowd the server a bit, and u can cancel the shop before icc comes out so u dont make it pay to win?

Retail relived all those patches, not sure if it's even that easy to do here. Also restarting everything won't make changes, the problem here is shop and you can actualy pay to win. People actualy farm gold to get coins and buy some BiS item, ofcourse game is ment to farm those arenas and do raids to obtain certain items. Game do lose purpose, for example for someone to get wrathful shoulders, he can farm gold in like one week to buy those shoulders, but if the player don't have that option, who knows maybe he is not even capable to achieve it after a year and that makes game interesting and striving for something.
But to fix that removing shop most likely would destroy server since that is the income they get to pay off server hosts and devs.
The question is if they implemented a payment fee to play on server just to remove shop, how many players would leave?
