I know : " don't cry warmane server are pvp etc etc ...".
It's just getting frustrating, i'm questing normaly and getting ganked by 15/20 level player above me EVERYTIME ... That is not a fun leveling experience imo.
I need to double account to make sure i have a body guard with me so people let me quest LOL.
Don't know if there's a solution somewhere, i'm just tired of it.
I think you’re playing the wrong game tbh. This one is called World of WARCRAFT. Not World Of Peaceful Leveling. That’s it, if you have that big of a problem, switch servers/games, but this is what the game is supposed to be for sure. I personally play on this server exactly for this feeling of a real, interactive atmosphere across the continents - gankers are big part of it.

Quit with this bull****. Seriously. The game has had PvE servers (which were called Normal) since its creation. The game evolved to have Warmode, effectively making every server PvE with an option to be in a PvP phase where you will only interact with other PvPers. No one is "crafting" any war by ganking, no one is doing it due to any sense of duty or patriotism to a faction. The game is for anyone who wants to have fun with it, it's specifically PvP servers that have the potential for this extra frustration.
No, there isn't much of a solution beyond either being stronger/in a stronger group or avoiding areas and times when gankers are around. They generally stick to certain zones and there are always other zones you can do your leveling instead.
Only thing in pvp that really frustrates me is rogues and druids because of their stealth. Wish there was something like hunter's mark debuff that gets applied to them for several minutes after killing a player just so they can't hang around to camp that player.
Oh well, I'll get to do the same to them when I level a rogue too.

Duty or patriotism to a faction? I'm an ORC, not some yoga elf doing flower picking in Elwynn Forest. I bleed red (literally orc blood is red, look it up), and I live for Orgrimmar. Thrall is my warchief, my spirit guide, my green Jesus. My axe has a name, and it's Alliance Slayer 9000. Every time I hear "For the Alliance," I gain +10 rage and lose all impulse control.
You're talking about Warmode and PvE servers like this is some kind of diplomacy simulator. Nah, brother. This is World of WARcraft, not World of Hugcraft. The only peace on Horde territory is the kind enforced by my axe... and it's real quiet when the Alliance are face down in the dirt.
I can only speak for Lordaeron as 1x is my preferred way of play:
Leveling is generally gank-free until you hit STV. Once you get out of STV, it's really smooth sailing until Outland, and again smooth sailing once you get out of Hellfire Peninsula.
It def. does suck being ganked, or just being attacked in general but there's some things you can do: Namely -
1. Level Herbalism and utilize Lifeblood as a mini Lay on Hands. Lifeblood + potion is insane healing. This should give you a decent edge on whoever attacks you, allowing you to kill them.
2. Be in a large leveling guild and ask for help dealing with players.
Why do you think the game is called "World of WARCRAFT?" even if you do get ganked and die you don't really lose nothing but time if you really think this is bad then you should've played OSRS where you can lose your items if you died.
A fun way to punish ganker would be to make a system where they get a bounty on their head for killing low level players.
For example 10% honor bonus per lowbie killed.
Making them a target for other players.
Maybe even add the guards throwing rotten fruit at them just like dk's after they leave their staring zone.
Ofcourse this could be a double edged sword.
Cause who wouldn't want a insanely high bounty, right..
Anyway, just try leveling in alternative zones.
I barely ever get killed when leveling just because i visit abandoned zones.

"10% honor bonus per lowbie killed" would be very abused to get easy fast honor, spend on jewelcrafting mats and make easy gold.
I’ve got a better solution for level 80 gankers: If they kill more than 10 lowbies, the guards should drag them kicking and screaming to their faction’s capital city and publicly hang them by their underwear on the front gates. They'd be stuck there for 30 minutes, unable to respawn, while everyone walks by throwing rotten tomatoes, spoiled fish, and maybe even gnome socks at them. Even better, put them in a jail cell where players can come poke them with sticks, /laugh at them, and maybe hear them beg for forgiveness through emotes.

Thanks.
Yes there is. you do the leveling in dungeons either by yourself dual account or with rdf. 1-15 should be done in starting areas where pvp is off. you don't have to leave town if you don't want to.

Whatever the game evolved to, is irrelevant. are you saying warlords of draenor or whatever comes after is better than wotlk ? i think the playerbase is proof enough of it that this isn't the case.

What are you even talking about?
Did you take a wrong turn when going to Twitter embody the meme?
After killing a lowbie the player could get a stackable 30% reduced movement speed debuff for a duration of 30 min.
Lowbie gankers would move around like snales which makes it easy to dodge them.
I was excited about playing Warmane, until I discovered it's completely PvP. PvE is a standard option with WoW. There are those of us that want to play the game itself, that the original developers designed to be played. That's why they implemented PvP battlegrounds. The rabid responses from gankers in this thread are why I hate PvP servers.

Alrighty then bye.
You'll find no populated wotlk servers that are PvE.
Your options are Warmane or a Single Player Project running AzerothCore.
