I am currently levelling on Icecrown (lvl74) but that's a horrendous experience, getting chain killed by lvl80 (some quests qre impossible because of time limit and ganker hotspot).
I don't mind the casual PvP but being camped all day like they do on Icecrown ...
Also wondering how many people actually play on that server?

On icecrown they are everywhere in Northrend a real pest. Moved several times wasn't able to do a single quest!

To answer your question, I really enjoy it. I have 5 80’s on Icecrown but the leveling experience there is well known that you just outpace everything so fast due x7 experience.
Lordaeron actually makes you learn your character and you even have time to level professions.
Endgame is a different beast though. Don’t even think about ICC unless you are 5.4-5.5k GS, normal ICC on Lord is said to be on par or harder than ICC HC on Icecrown (they do get 30% buff)
Overall I like the community on Lordaeron more and feels like items and your character have more worth. Just my 2 cents.

i too migrated from icrcrown to lordaeron about 7 months back.
i can tell you, gaking / wpvp will happen, no doubt. but lorderon has less ganking / griefing while levelling than icecrown.
currently my main is 5.4k gs prot pala.
i have a 79 shaman and now 28 rogue.
i am on the alliance faction.
yes raids in lorderon are harder, we need maybe 200 more gs than in icecrown. Also we need to do more "homework" on our class / role for that fight. pls dont expect to be spoon fed without putting effort.
but over all, i have more positive expereince in lordaeron for sure !!
