Good evening, yesterday I successfully completed the task from the 3x3 event, but forgot to hand it in. I thought it could be handed in even the next day.
Here is the ID of my last 10th 3x3 match, you can see that I managed to do everything in time but just forgot to pick up the reward

There is a known issue in WotLK regarding daily and weekly quests occasionally bugging. For example, the Icecrown weekly quest from Wintergrasp No Mercy for the Merciless can cause problems if it is completed but not turned in. If you attempt to turn-in the quest in the following week, it may not be available unless you abandon it and re-do. However, this particular issue has been addressed and recently fixed.

As for the Blackrock/TBC quests, I cannot confirm whether a similar fix has been applied.
