I don't know how you play, but this honestly feels like a pure skill issue. You're leveling in contested zones, so you should always be aware of your surroundings and avoid being too exposed.
I recently leveled my priest to 80 with only 6 deaths, 2 of which were from opposite faction players, and I didn't avoid notoriously dangerous zones like Tanaris, Hellfire Peninsula, or Borean Tundra.
If you're just roaming around without considering the risk of being killed, then you're an easy prey and you deserve it.
It is not always a matter of skill.
A player can be very capable in pvp, but if you are up against 3 or more players you can do little if anything.
Add to this the level ed equipment difference.
To ReportMyTeam: I suggest that you always carry health potions in your bags, scrolls and food to increase life points and also potions that temporarily increase speed when trying to escape.
If there are no debuffs, the potion that allows you to temporarily run on water can help.
Each time I see somebody complain about "ganking problem", I get the strong feeling that it's not their real issue. Ganking is just a convenient excuse to ask for pve server, because it's obviously bad.
Real ganking is rare and so easily avoidable in many ways, it’s hardly a real problem. Frustration is it.
Especially if that person has no skill in fair pvp, which happens much more often.
I'm pretty sure TS and other ppl like him should call it "I'm pretty frustrated with pvp in any form, please make a pve server", that would be fairer.
And ofc there are a lot of ppl, who like the feeling of danger when going into contested zones, and like end-content raids as well. They would never play pve servers.
Well, wow without ambushes would no longer be wow.
So, arm yourself with a lot of patience and to have mercy on them..............unless they are players who do it for hours.
yes.. sure ..defending yourself against an 80 at low levels is a skill issue!
OK , OK I know what you mean , but OPs options are basically level in an area thats out of the way ..or just be prepared to log out a lot and wait them out
If you can't count on any help, this is another way of dealing with it and that many already do, also because it's quite annoying to ask for help because of some gankers.
I'm a PVE player not flagged for PVP but am still getting ganked and corpse camped several times a day , I don't even do PVP so why should I suffer ?? And don't even start with the " Skill Issue " nonsense , PVE players shouldn't be killable by PVP players in the first place .....
If you are on the contested maps (the ones with the yellow name), you can be attacked by the opposing faction even with pvp disabled.
Listen. I am one of the gankers.
Here are your options: You can switch the zone / You can come back later / You can set-off an alarm in the morning when server is empty / You can ask someone to boost you through dungeons / You can queue up for RDF and change zone.
If this server becomes PvE in matter of banning gankers - I am leaving and many people will do the same. Just because you are unable to find ways of levelling up, it does not mean all activities such as ganking low-geared people should be bannable.
low level gankers leaving the server is the worst possible "threat" you could give. everyone wants those people gone
This guy is funny, I hunt gankers and when I kill them then they are offline for few hours ahahahah
Well, you know, gankers don't like to be "ganked", that's why they go offline. XD
Please just leave. Literally nobody wants low level gankers around.
