WotLK Abuse of power and harassment by a GM in dungeon (Lordaeron)

Hello,

I was in an RHC dungeon group on Lordaeron, where I was playing my role as a DPS. I joined the RHC because I wanted to complete my daily and earn some Emblems of Frost. During the run, I ended up pulling aggro a few times, but I honestly thought the tank could handle it — especially since he was performing well in the beginning and clearly had much better gear than the rest of the group.

However, toward the final part of the dungeon, the tank’s attitude suddenly changed, and he appeared to become upset. Based on his behavior and apparent authority, I believe he may be a Game Master.

He asked in party chat:

“Tell me, what are you doing?”
I responded:
“I try to do DPS”
He then said:
“What is it that you sabotage this event?”

I answered (a bit late):

“It’s my role” – meaning I was simply playing as a DPS and trying to contribute as best I could.

After that, he wrote in party chat:

“Can we kick this saboteur guys?”

And I was removed from the group.
EDIT: He teleported me to the goldshire! Without any warning etc.

Immediately afterward, he sent several whispers to me (I can provide video/screenshots), including one that said:

“I don't know what type of drugs you have taken”

and the chat was pretty long with him...

From my point of view, this behavior was extremely inappropriate, insulting, and unprofessional. I did nothing wrong or disruptive. I was just playing my class and role properly. It now feels like someone who should not be in a position of authority is abusing their power and treating regular players unfairly.

Please investigate this situation seriously. I can attach screenshots and video of the whisper conversation, and I’m happy to provide any further details if needed.

Even if it was GM, i believe they have separate accounts or characters. Anyway i dont believe it was a GM, you were teleported because you were kicked from the group, there is nothing wrong in changing attitude from a tank because every tank would be mad if his dps keeps pulling everything and he got sick of it. There is always two sides of the story

Yes, that might be the case, but the kick happened immediately.
By the way, shouldn’t there be a message saying that a vote to kick has been initiated? I didn’t see anything like that.

Also, I was trying to be polite and even said that I could lower my DPS if needed — but I wasn’t given any chance to adjust.
What I still don’t understand is: if you’re playing as a tank and you’re very well-geared, why get that upset? He was still performing really well on the other bosses, so from my perspective, I didn’t see any reason to hold back my DPS.

You did something wrong and you don't want to admit it or don't even know what you did. When you're the one who's being kicked you don't see any messages.

Thank you for the info, might be then that player started vote and the vote went trough very fast.
Anyway I made a ticket and linked evidence.

Nothing will happen. Players are free to vote to kick others from RDF.
