I’ve noticed some players getting banned for inappropriate character names, and I’m curious about what counts as crossing the line. I enjoy using edgy or dark humor in names, but I want to make sure I don’t go too far.

There is no list of names or guidelines beyond "use common sense," especially since trying to make one is just inviting players to work around it and use that to argue when they get banned. It's also impossible for us to know each and every insulting slang in every language. Names are judged on a case-by-case basis and the unofficial "golden rule" for this sort of thing applies: if you can't truthfully tell yourself that something is 100% fine, better to just not do it.
