Defile doge ?

I'm from another server, and i dont found answer to m'y question,
One of m'y friend doge defile by jump underground place defile and tp back, is this existing on official game ? I dont found anything saying it was a bug but nothing about it was legit

1 : bé on the side of lk's plateforme
2 : bé target by defile
3 : jump fastout of platform
4 : tp back when defile appears

Nothing on blizzards forums, nothing on reddit dont found here too

Yes, it works ,
it’s not a bug. Some hunters even use Disengage at the edge with a parachute, causing Defile to drop off the platform. Then they use Readiness and Disengage again to get back onto the platform. I had an old video of a hunter doing that, but unfortunately I couldn’t find it.

You know you can watch pretty much any lod attempt on youtube and you're quite certain to witness doing this trick with defile or skip killing a valkyr by doing the same.

Just not sure why you'd do the exta step of jumping out of the platform. It's not like a defile at the edge or slightly outside is going to make a difference.
