I understand that Lordaeron is supposed to be the realm with "buffed content".
But does that also mean that adds should be buffed, not just bosses?
Specifically, I've noticed that the adds in ICC on Icecrown have less HP (despite the 30% buff there), while on Lordaeron they have more HP, despite having no buff at all.
I believe tuning down the HP of adds a bit would improve the raiding experience. Here is why:
Raid length - Raids on Lordaeron often last 4 hours (essentially half a work day), about twice as long as on Icecrown. Many guilds even need 2 days to finish the same ID. Saving just a few minutes on each raid might not seem much, but it adds up significantly over time.
Respawns - Adds respawn after 2 hours. If a group spends 90 minutes progressing on BQL or PP after a 30 min clear, the adds respawn and force another 10+ minutes of re-clearing. That feels unnecessarily punishing. Increasing the respawn timer would also help, and I don’t see a downside to it.
Pacing & enjoyment – Many players prefer using trash clears as short breaks so they can stay focused on bosses. But when adds take too long to kill, it slows the raid down, causes more unnecessary deaths, and makes the trash feel more like a chore than a natural buildup to the bosses.
Consistency with past changes – Sister Svalna's HP was nerfed and her Spear ability delayed, presumably to smooth progression. A similar adjustment to trash mobs would be in the same spirit.
In short: lowering add HP wouldn't trivialize the content, but it would reduce downtime, lessen frustration with respawns, and make raids more enjoyable without removing the "buffed" challenge from bosses.
Would it really save much time? Since Bloodlust is needed on nearly every boss pull, the downtime between pulls already exists, and in the meantime, you can clear trash - even the buffed ones.
Bloodlust is a problem of it's own as well. Having Sated not reset in 2025 after killing a boss is also nothing but a waste of time, guilds literally started pulling bosses to wipe to reset Sated and then have the real pull afterwards. It's just a weird hill to die on at this point to still keep this as it is, Blizzard realized that 15 years ago and even had it changed on Classic WOTLK for a reason, even they didn't care about keeping it "Blizzlike" at this point.
Also, not every guild is doing this, a lot of guilds/raids (I would say most guilds & raids) are not reseting Sated and just pulling the boss without it.
Hard to say how much time it would save, because things might shift a bit - we might change the order we clear ICC, etc. but even then, I would prefer to have 2 minutes free to go for a pee break or to grab a drink, rather than wasting it on trash.

fair point, but you forget about one thing: if trash was faster, sated would be up longer, true, but sated being up longer doesnt necessarily mean more wasted time. if a group is in front of a boss with a 3 minute sated timer, they will likely just wait it out, but if the faster trash would make this a 5-6minute sated timer, nobody is going to just wait that out unless they make it a proper 5 minute break once or twice per raid. they will depending on guild either just pull the boss without bloodlust or reset sated.
so a 3 minutes sated debuff usually leads to 3 minutes of wasted time, a 5minute sated debuff usually causes a mass suicide and rebuff for 1-2 minutes.
I 100% think that a general sated clearing after a boss pull would make a lot of sense though, and be much less controversial than other custom changes of wrath classic which were taken over
