1. Disconnections due to “Unauthorized software or modifications detected”

    Hello,

    I’ve been playing on Warmane for a long time without any issues, but recently I started getting the following message:
    “Unauthorized software or modifications to your game client has been detected. You will be disconnected shortly.”

    This has already happened to me several times and I always get disconnected shortly after the warning.

    – Addons: AtlasLoot, Bagnon, Dominos, Easy Frames, GearScoreLite, Kui Nameplates, Mapster, MoveAnything, OmniCC, Plater, Quartz, Skada, Titan Panel
    – Windows 10
    – Overlays are disabled (like Discord, Nvidia)
    – Background programs: None suspicious

    What I have tried:
    – Cleared Cache
    – Checked for any overlays or third-party programs

    I use warmane client without any custom HD textures or whatever.
    Also I didnt change my addons in 3 years.
    The issue started today... I get this message and get kicked after 15-20 seconds.

    No, it isn't. We have updated certain detections.


    This isn't about HD texture packs or anything of the sort.
    Get a truly clean client if you're getting that message, while you're still being warned about it.

  7. What you mean by truly clean client. My client is not touched in 3 years and it was downloaded from warmane. The only mods which actually put are just the updated version of addons for warmane. The only 3rd party software which I use is Hotkeynet to control my multiboxers.

    Don't even bother trying.

  10. Why would I use something different in accounts which I invested time and effort to grind them from scratch. I am neither some pvp or pve wanna be god. I casually just log in to enjoy the game with my friends.
    I can even stream to show staff that I aint doing using anything besides the Hotkeynet for multiboxing and thats all...

    I'm just informing what has happened and what to do. I won't be indulging in anything involving anyone saying they are innocent.

    There's no issue to be fixed - aside using an actual clean client, of course.

    Yeah I tried that one too and I get the same message on completely fresh wotlk warmane client downloaded from site.
    Tried to manage to write a ticket with my issue I hope some responsible person pay attention to it to let me know how I can fix it.

  15. I literally installed the client directly from Warmane’s download page. I didn’t add any addons or even my WTF folder. I just open the game, and after a few seconds I get disconnected with the same message
