Constant latency changes and ramdom DCS over the past month
Helllo everyone my name is Santi, im a fellow player of the server since way before warmane, molten wow practically
I have seen the server going throug a lot, old school people should know, but every time we had some kind of "feedback" in abuot whats the reasoning for the problems.
The thing is over the past month or 5-6 weeks i have seen many LATIN people, specifically, getting DC or ramdom changes in latency. I haven't found any post of people complaining about this issue, so i wanna ask everyone in here, How is the server feeling lately?
I kinda have flashback from the past when server used to be DDos attacked constantly, but this time seems like no one cares and no one is making any comment about it.
PEOPLE:
Share with me your experience so far with the server, is it doing good?
What about EU people? is the server having issues for you? In terms of ramdom DCS and latency increase out of nowhere.
Please warmane staff, do not act like in game, please share with me, whats going on with the server lately?
Whats the cause of this latency issue?
I know people from USA to Argentina having this issue.
You can try a vpn or ask around if there are players on a different isp where it works fine. Could be a timeout issue due to high latency too, i dont really know and can only guess. I can tell you that where im from everything is running smootlhy.
Has nothing to do with Warmane, fix your internet stuff or get a different internet provider.
and how do you figure that the problem is its internet connection ?
Happen to me too only on Warmane, playing on another wow private which also hosted in Europe (leaseweb) and Gw2 on Europe servers with 0 issues.
Yesterday on a Toc 25 (2 / 3 hours after reset), a lot of people in the raid was complaining about the latency and some of them got random disconnected at the same time, before the server crashed. Should we all fix our internet connection or get a different provider ? Next time if you feel the need to post this kind of unhelpful ExtraEmily answer -> don't.
sanicha, as Nobuemon pointed out you can try with a VPN, exitlag is good for gaming or if you can't afford one, use cloudflare warp which is free and can help with latency spike

1-3 players complaining is not alot, people will use "lag" as excuse for slacking, playing bad or not knowing their own class which goes hand in hand with playing bad/poorly and in general blame everything on "lag".
Yes you should fix YOUR internet connection. You could live in Singapore and have the fastest internet known to mankind but if your cables, wires/router and things like that are old and faulty then that will impact your connection by alot.
Perhaps the only "reason" it happends on Warmane for you people is because you barely spend enough time on the other games to experience it or they have a server center closer to where you live.
+ majority of people on warmane dont seem to know the difference between fps drops and lag.
This problem is happening to the whole South American community. It’s very strange, the ms goes up and it kicks you out of the server, but on websites and other games the internet works fine

It's not only in South America, report from North America / South Asia as far I known are the same, try cloudflare warp it's free.
Same here, this is happening to lots of south-american guildmates (mostly from Argentina). We never had any issues like these before on Warmane, and it's happening to all of us at the same time. We get disconnected after 1 min of logging in or so, there's literally nothing we can do, our internet connections are working perfectly. This has been happening since tuesday i think.
ExtraEmily stop being an edgy bastard and shut up if you don't have anything helpful to say

1 or 3 players? Sir... my whole guild has this problem, do we all have to change our connections?...
Thinking before commenting isn't illegal.
Lag here, All the other games with an internet connection work fine, streaming, downloads, everything. The only thing that doesn’t work well is Warmane, with several weird spikes per hour of 1500–2000 MS that last a couple of minutes and then improve on their own. My internet is fine, everything else works as usual and other online games too.

So the issue lies somewhere between your PC and service provider's host. It's the same for all who usually have connection issues while others don't. There's wide range of possible causes, usually it's not fixable by user turning their router on/off. What you can do is try resetting your router, or at least turn it on/off for a bit, VPN and eventually calling your ISP to ask them if they can identify the issue. Not sure if you could get any answers from Warmane's host (if that info is readily available anywhere). You could also try IP release, renew and DNS flush if you're keen on getting it fixed and want to go through your options.
