Yes in the next couple months or so. No official date yet. It is a great time to level a toon and start getting a foundation set up.

The PvE content should be easy to navigate for new players. There's a good population so there are things to do.

WotLK content is pretty diverse as far as what you can play as opposed to the previous expansions. There should be quite a few roster slots available for just about anything around launch time.

there is nothing new players can do other than just wait for wotlk. I'd be best just ding 70 and just wait. no point go through all the trouble to be able to raid SWP.

Of course there is. You would want to obtain dual spec. Get a flying mount at least. And of course a solid foundation of gold especially for cold weather flying. Level up professions. Cap your honor for pre-patch and at least get a reasonable starter set to farm up S4.

TBC raids will be ultra nerfed in pre-patch and talent changes will make them a cake walk. Population will skyrocket so the options will open up. If you can break into even prebis raid/T4 gearing you can do T6 level content. So there are options.
