I didn't enter here from few years, but last time i've check my heroes was still alive. Maybe you can remember some of mine heroes names. Playana as main, Aly side. Shamanga horde side. They doesn't exist in the armory.

Accounts aren't deleted unless the user initiates it.

Characters have their names removed if they are inactive. They won't show up on armory, but they should show up in services and such, just under temporary names. E.g. c-091723. These characters can be played once again you give them new names.
Level 1-50 characters that are inactive are removed.
Premium accounts don't have their characters removed.
