Righteous weapon coating

Is the Righteous weapon coating from the isle of quel danas , that you get from a quest better for a warrior than a regular sharpening stone?

It depends because it's 300 AP on proc lasting 10 seconds, but it has a 45 second internal cooldown. Using it on a single weapon for an extended duration like on a boss fight would be just slightly worse than a sharpening stone. Although the initial burst is much stronger than a sharpening stone meaning that using it on a shorter duration fight would technically be better. It just isn't that common to have a short fight in Sunwell. You would find more use for that in Magisters Terrace or doing dailies.

Maybe it is possible to swap weapons in combat though to utilize the proc. Not sure if that's possible. Not likely someone would have two equivalent weapons to do that anyway especially if you had warglaives.

Is it not bugged on this server in any way?It's what I herd maybe the cd is lower or something , if not than I guess it's not better.

I'm not sure. I just ran simulations mostly. For warrior I'm getting 20-30 dps loss.

I questioned it a lot in regards to a hunter because the gap is quite small when you're using daggers for example. And I found in the situation where you might get an additional proc near the end of the fight that you could get a very slight increase of a few dps. Not really worth running around getting the item though just for that in my opinion.
