I'm a Fury warrior, 4950 GS (iLvl 234).
I’ve farmed pretty much everything I can from heroics/RDF and emblem gear.
Only thing I’m still missing outside raids are ToC boots (Plated Greaves of Providence).
I’ve gemmed all slots and enchanted key pieces following class guides.
Feels like I hit a wall with heroics and not sure where to go next.
What raids should I start with at this GS?
What gear pieces should I focus on first?
Is there anything important missing on my character to be raid ready?
As for raids (I mean, in addition to Shred's suggestion), you can go with the easy ones:
- ToC 10 (assuming you get upgrades from there);
- ToC 25;
- VoA 10;
- VoA 25;
- weekly (for the 5 EoF);
- Onyxia 25.
I should note that some raid leaders might consider your GS too low, BUT that's only because the GS requirements are inflated on Lordearon and Icecrown. Back on Frostmourne, you would have been accepted in ToC 25 NM, even with that gear.
Also worth noting that some people occasionally organise ICC 10/25 alt runs, and they require less GS for them.
Do you have access to Havi's Pug Channel on discord? People regularly advertise raids there.
Look for raids in trade chat, global chat, and when doing dungeons with chill/nice/good players, add them then ask them if they have any spot for a raid/group
why did you spend your precious frost emblems on the cloak ? what a waste. always keep them for the T10 set first.
don't spec into rend, that's 2 points loss as fury.
Avoid toc 10/25 because those do not give anything that matters instead do ICC 10 ALt runs. even if they ask for 5.1 and you come as 4.9 you should pass the inspection. leg enchant is from the AH, take the one +75ap and crit
If you're on Lordaeron, the best way forward imo is to join a social guild that and go from there. There are plenty of those on Lordaeron and many of them do guild raids (especially ICC 10) without the commitment requirement of more serious raiding guilds. People will definitely appreciate you taking the effort to gem + enchant your gear despite the low gear score. Even though people usually want more gear, it is technically possible to do ICC at 4.9k gs though you'll prolly need a carry or two in the raid. A better bet is to try for TOC 25 as you'll get some nice ilvl 245 upgrades which people tend not to need.
If you're on Icecrown, i honestly have no idea. Gear requirements are ridiculously high for pugs and guild runs. I'm trying to gear my own character and I find it 2-3x harder to do so than on Lordaeron. If anyone's got any tips, it'd be appreciated.
