Technical Points from previous server

Is there a way to get points from the Mists server that was shut down?
I spent a lot of points a while back for my character on the server that got shut down, and i returned to Warmane to play it, and now when i saw that there is no server anymore, i started Wotlk.
I feel it's really unfair to for those points to just be lost and i cant get even some of them back, it's not like it's something that will impact the server at all.

If you means coins/points spent on Frostwolf characters, there's no returning those.
