When will be available to spend coins for pre raid gear on Onyxia?

In past years it has been the Wednesday/Thursday after raid release.

This expansion is far easier though to obtain gear than Vanilla/TBC was. The dungeon and raid content is incredibly easy with a multitude of loot options. So it may be available sooner? I don't see as many players needing to buy things.

What do they usually sell in the shop on Onyxia? Can you buy raid gear and when?

You will not be able to buy raid gear the moment raids open. Onyxia is supposed to be a progressive realm and while it supports donations, it'll not be set up for people cashing in getting an immediate advantage.

Meaning - you will be able to buy raid gear, but only after a designated amount of time and after people had time to obtain the items in-game. When enough people got the gear in-game, it unlocks (at least that's what my outcome from a GM about this very topic has been).

I guess they will unlock Pre-Raid gear soon tho, as it doesn't matter too much.

You can expect the gear to appear in the shop a few weeks after raids have been opened.

How was it before, on TBC for example? Did the gear appear in the store relatively quick after the raid opened? That is, should I expect the naxx gear to be available in a week, or more like in a month?
