Are there any guilds on BlackRock that are cool with training new arena players?

I've been playing WoW for a few years on different private servers (Turtle, Epoch, Whitemane, Bronzebeard, and now Warmane), but I never dove too deep into arenas. I never had the gear for it, but I was always interested in competing for rating. I don't enjoy the PvE in this game, and I also don't have time for loot politics / raiding commitments. That's the reason I quit playing Turtle WoW, but WotLK has its own charm. The PvP is a lot harder, but the classes are pretty fleshed out and balanced.

I've been playing arenas with randoms for a couple days, and even though the losses are numerous, I've been having fun learning my class, and conquering the adrenaline.

I main Feral, I've done quite a bit of research on add-ons, macros, keybinds, and spec. I'm currently at the phase where the binds aren't automatic, and I'm having trouble targeting with arena123/focus. I'm still clicking nameplates way too often, and that's leading me to miss a lot. I need lots of practice.

I've watched plenty of videos (mostly Shyxy), but I'm having a hard time understanding his prioritization/matchup strategy, positioning, and his inputs are blindingly quick.

The only reason I'm even doing this is because my best friend that has played since Cata was supposed to be by my side. He bailed on me, and I didn't want to put all the research/configuration to waste. So I gave it a shot, and I've been having fun.

Hoping to find some patient gamers to show me the ropes.

Hi. I just recently started playing Blackrock. My situation is somewhat similar to yours. I've played a lot of retail PvP, but mostly Battlegrounds or RBGs. I also play Battlegrounds here and have fun, but I'd like to play Arena sometimes, but unfortunately, many people here have very high expectations and are intolerant of mistakes.
If you're interested in playing for fun, but also want to strive to win and improve your skill, you could try playing together. No toxicity or accusations, just discussion and problem-solving.
