1. Settings not saving, Addons not working

Ive been having an issue that every time i load up the game it is in the lowest resolution, and small window mode. I also cannot install any add ons. I have the addons in my addon folder, in there respective folders, but nothing pops up on the screen.

Am i missing a setting or something to keep this from happening each time I log in? It also doesnt save my account name at login, and I have to re accept the terms and conditions every time, not sure if that is normal for this server.

It does keep my spell locations and bars up, but that is about the only thing that stays how i left it.

    Thanks

  2. To fix the settings reappearing, go through steps 1-5:
    1. Restart your PC.
    2. Close and exit torrent.
    3. Move your WoW -folder to other folder, away from Torrent's Download folder.
    4. Right click WoW -folder or config.wtf -file (in WoW/WTF -folder), select properties, un-check "Read-only" and Apply.
    5. If you get prompt, Apply changes to this folder, sub-folders and files and click OK.

    7. Login by using username, not email.

    Addons:
Go to your WoW/Interface/AddOns/ -folder, and check if the AddOns are packed within an extra folder. This is usually the issue when AddOns aren't showing up, despite being for the correct WoW version, and installed within the right folder.

E.g. the addon might be installed like this:
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-WotLK-3.3.5/DBM-Core
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-WotLK-3.3.5/DBM-TBC
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-WotLK-3.3.5/DBM-GUI
    etc.

When the addon should be installed like this:
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-Core
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-TBC
    WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-GUI
    etc.

    Thanks for the reply!

So i should clarify more. Ive been playing for 2 months now with this issue, and just dealing with the annoyance of it.
My original torrent is deleted, I only have the Wow directorty in my progam files. Folder is not marked read only, checked wtf and it is also not checked read only.

Double checked my addons and they are all as listed. I just cant get any of them to show up under any part of my in game menu.

Kind of at a loss at this point

  4. Any addon should be for game version 3.3.5 in general.
In your character selection screen there's no addons button at bottom left corner? If there is, click it and click "enable out of date addons" or something like that.

Don't know if it would help, but you could try making a new folder for WoW, perhaps somewhere else than Program Files, and transfer the files from your WoW folder there.
